Nova-Tier Ability

(Agility + Willpower)

  • Sense Energy
    • Character can detect energy in the surrounding vicinity
    • Gives character insight into rough physical capabilities of sentient creatures
    • Gives character rough stats for objects
  • Build Energy
    • Each Tier of success adds +1 to a Physical Attribute roll (distributed evenly among Agility / Strength / Vitality)
    • Could use stored charge to release a blast attack that deals d2 / Tier Wound damage

Supernova-Tier Ability

(Discipline / Concentration)

  • Power Augmentation
    • Add the character’s Discipline / Concentration roll to their activation roll
  • Absorb Energy
    • The character can reflexively roll against an incoming physical attack
    • Success allows the character to harmlessly dissipate the attack and store the potential energy
    • Each Tier of success functions as per Build Energy (but this ability can be used reflexively each turn if the character is under attack)
  • Energy Blast
    • Violet can send out a blast of energy, activation success vs target’s Defense
    • The attack deals the Violet’s Alate/Drone Violet Asset rating in Wound damage
  • Energy Shield
    • Can form a barrier of energy to protect self, activation roll vs incoming attack
    • If weapon damage is higher than Alate/Drone Violet Asset rating, the difference must be made up by excess in a successful activation roll

Hypernova-Tier Ability

(Athlete, Lightning’ Reflexes, Sharp Sense)

  • Power Augmentation
    • Add the highest Asset rating to the character’s activation roll
  • Scope: Damage
    • Supernova-Tier abilities elevated to Hypernova-Tier abilities deal damage or provide armor bonuses in ship scale instead of personal scale.
